We’re all about crafting high-quality, handmade paper décor, cards, and stationery to inject fun and personality into living spaces and commemorate those special moments. We’re passionate about bringing paper to life and cherishing its role as a traditional yet invaluable communication tool in today’s digital age!
MEET ALISON
Hello, I’m Alison, the creative force behind The Paper Lover Co. Paper has been my passion since childhood, and my dream was always to open a stationery shop and create greeting cards every day. I vividly recall the joy of crafting paper-cut cards for my friends and family’s birthdays. Fourteen years later, I turned that dream into reality, giving birth to The Paper Lover Co.
Based in Calgary, I juggle my role as a product design manager by day with designing paper products by night. Together with my family (including my little one), we form a team, assembling and packaging all our goods. Each paper creation starts with hand-drawn designs using pens and pencils, then transitions into digital formats where patterns and colors come to life. I personally handcraft all our 3D paper cut pictures, framing them in shadow boxes. We feel incredibly fortunate that our amazing customers allow us to pursue our passion.
