Our signature product is the stunning 3D paper cut picture. Founder-designer, Alison, personally crafts these unique pieces, adding a touch of individuality to each creation. With an expanding range of products showcased at markets, we also offer custom-made 3D paper cut pictures. Whether you have a specific idea or simply a photograph, we can transform it into a bespoke paper masterpiece! These custom creations make perfect gifts for occasions like housewarmings, baby showers, and weddings.
Upon receiving your custom order inquiry, we’ll schedule a quick initial meeting to discuss your requirements. This can be done via phone call or Facetime. If these options don’t suit you, we’re flexible to communicate through emails. Feel free to share examples, ideas, color preferences, and photographs at any point—it helps us envision your picture thoroughly! Following this, we’ll provide you with an estimated quote based on your criteria. When you’re ready to proceed, we require 100% payment upfront since it’s a custom project.
Timeline: 2-3 days after receiving inquiry
Next, we’ll craft a quick digital mockup where we consolidate all your ideas into a flat version of the 3D paper cut picture! With each custom order, you’ll receive one digital mockup for review. This allows you to suggest any adjustments or alterations before we proceed with cutting your picture. Please bear in mind that if extensive changes necessitate another digital mockup, additional costs may apply. Also, please note that while the digital mockup serves as a reference, the final paper cut picture may not be 100% identical. At The Paper Lover Co., we reserve the right to modify the final design to ensure the best outcome.
Timeline: 1-2 weeks production time for digital mockup
Now, the excitement kicks in! Once you’ve given your approval for the digital mockup, we’ll dive into cutting out your picture! Throughout the process, we’ll occasionally update you with photos to keep you in the loop. It’s important to note that any additional changes at this stage will incur additional costs.
Timeline: 3-8 weeks production time for paper cut

For those residing within the Calgary city limits, we can arrange a convenient drop-off. However, if you live outside of Calgary, we’re happy to assist with shipping arrangements, though please note that you’ll be responsible for covering all associated shipping costs.

All custom 3D Papercut Pictures start at CAD$85, which includes a frame. The final price may vary depending on factors such as size, design complexity, and any special requirements. Below are our standard frame sizes for your reference.

- All custom orders are made to order, and the order timeline will depend on our current production workflow. Please inquire for more details before placing an order. Rush orders that require The Paper Lover Co. to expedite their standard production schedule are subject to an additional rush fee.

- The Paper Lover Co. retains all rights to any original artwork. All custom works are for personal use only and may not be re-sold or distributed.
- While all custom orders are non-refundable/exchangeable, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you encounter any issues with your order.
- Shipping fees will be quoted individually based on the shipping location. Free local pickup is available to all Calgary customers.
